Hey there! I'm Paarangat Jain. I'm a student, developer, and accessibility advocate with a passion for solving complex problems. My journey into the world of code started early and has grown into a full-blown passion, now driving my pursuit of a Bachelor of Computer Science (Mathematics Major) at Monash University.
Currently, I serve as the Project Coordinator at the Monash Assistive Technology Team (MATT). In this role, I lead the development of affordable tactile displays for the visually impaired, bridging the gap between hardware and software. I also spearheaded the creation of a React Native mobile application to interface with these devices, working with a stack that includes JavaScript, TypeScript, and Git.
Beyond my core work, I'm always exploring new tools. My technical playground includes Python for data analysis, PHP and MySQL for backend systems, and tinkering with Arduino for embedded projects.
Outside of work, I'm a bit of a foodie always looking for the next great place to eat. When I'm relaxing at home, you'll find me meticulously keeping track of the latest Kdramas, bingeing Netflix shows, or catching up on the newest Marvel movies.

Operations Officer
Stepped into an Operations Officer role at the Monash Assistive Technology Team (MATT) whilst continuing my role as a Project Coordinator, having recently modernised my VCE Appointment Booking System into a Next.js and MongoDB stack.
MATT Projects & Certifications
Promoted to Project Coordinator at MATT. Engineered a React Native Tactile Display app, a reactive Braille Quiz Game with RxJS, and a unique iOS Pomodoro Timer. Added Google IT and responsive web design certifications to my belt.
CS at Monash & Tutoring
Started my Bachelor of Computer Science at Monash University and worked as a Private Mathematics Tutor, adapting lesson plans for high school students while strengthening my time management.
Appointment Booking System
Concluded VCE studies with my standout Software Development project: an Appointment Booking System built using PHP and MySQL.
Emergency Evacuation Prototype
Continued expanding my programming abilities while undertaking VCE subjects, culminating in designing a prototype for an Emergency Evacuation System.
VCE Studies
Underwent my Victorian Certificate of Education at Viewbank College, heavily focusing on analytical subjects to build my core understanding of problem-solving.
